Well, I'm done here. The noise from the left and right has reached a point where it's clear no honest discussion can take place. Folks, remember that the world isn't red and blue. The nature of politics in this nation are such that division only seeks to cement the old ways in place.
It prevents real change.
We prevent real change.
The reality of how this has come about is evident when you look at your activity list. No one wants to admit that the middle is where we need to be and no one wants to set foot there. Democrats feel their way, the way of spending and war is right. Republicans feel their way, the way of spending and war is right. Yet all we can do is point out the nuanced way each side sells us this shit is slightly different. Like that's supposed to make it believable, or just, or right.
I've long said that the day of reckoning is coming. A day when the utter foolishness of our leaders, elected and otherwise, fails them in the worst way possible. The unwinding from all the insanity created by the Federal Reserve is still waiting in the wings. It still needs to work its way out. That's how debt rolls people. The balance will correct itself. You can continue fighting about how your "side" is better but until you walk forward, away from that madness and see that there has always been only one side, you are doomed to forever be stuck in this cycle. A cycle of allowing those that serve us to pipe nonsense into our heads, and we to continue believing it.
Seasons greetings all. To my friends that have been great viners, and gone on (Bill Harrison, you will be missed, Nearing, Alan, Rob, amazing people all of you, Dennis I hope you are doing well, and to all that have crossed my path as either friend or opponent in this world of infinite possibility) I wish you all the best. Be fair to each other, because the only side that has ever mattered is the one where we know that there are no sides.
